1928 Six TA 14.75 4 Seat Tourer by James Young

The 14.75 Six (1870 cc) was Alvis’s first venture into the six-cylinder market in 1927. The aim initially was for improved flexibility rather than increased performance although the car was listed with 62bhp. Dispatched 7th March 1928 to the first owner, via Henly’s Ltd of London this is one of only 2 Alvis cars listed with James Young coachwork the other being a 1937 4.3 Saloon.With considerable recent expenditure, the car is in very good condition has been maintained to a very good level.
