1928 Alvis supercharged ‘Front-Wheel-Drive’ 4-seat Tourer

This FWD Alvis is exceptional for its long and almost complete history and for its survival with its
original body and engine.  It carries all matching-numbers and is virtually the same as it left the Alvis factory in December 1928.  It has an unusually detailed history and impeccable provenance, having been owned by a number of specialist car connoisseurs.   The body is the original Carbodies
two-door four-seat tourer, of which 28 were made and only 4 survive with their original bodies.
The car had several unusual features which were fitted when new, Smiths Auto Searchlight,
quick-release filler caps, extra large competition instruments and appears in the Profile
Publications booklet of 1967.  This car has been cherished by its current owner for almost thirty years and is in excellent condition.
