1928 FWD Supercharged Le Mans Replica
Built 9.11.28 to commemorate the Alvis Le Mans 24 hour race class win with a Cross and Ellis 2 seater sports body this supercharged car was guaranteed for 90mph. (A conservative calculation…. stated the Works)
From records the current engine (supercharged No7693)was installed prior to 1948 .The car was extensively rebuilt in the late 80`s and has been with the same family since.
Work this year includes a replacement tank , fuel lines and the inboard brakes have been sorted. The car is ready to be enjoyed.
