1934 SPEED 20 SB FOUR SEATER TOURER By VANDEN PLAS

Leaving the factory on 4th May, 1934 for Charles Folletts of London this Vanden Plas Tourer was first purchased by Miss Ruby Paton of Murrayfield, Scotland.  Some six owners and over 80 years later finds the car languishing in a lock-up garage, unused for over a decade.

The car is now running with some essential work carried out but would benefit from a mechanical overhaul and attention to other aspects such as wiring and upholstery. The bodywork has held up surprisingly well.

Being the SB version it has an all-synchro gearbox, independent front suspension and a 2511cc engine with triple SU Carburettors.

This car is listed in Smith`s `Vanden Plas Coachbuilders` as one of 42 SB VDP Tourers produced and now represents a superb opportunity.

  • Year: 1934
