1936 SPEED 25 TOURER BY CROSS & ELLIS

First introduced in 1936, the Speed 25 Alvis was given universal approval by the motoring press. Of the 391 chassis built most were fitted with Charlesworth saloon coachwork, but this example is one of the 39 chassis fitted with tourer body by Cross & Ellis. This matching number car was delivered new to Mr. Malcolm MacGregor of Hocroft Rd, NW2 on the 12th December 1936. The car has been in the same ownership for the last fifty-two years where it has been cherished and cared for by the current owner.
