1937 ALVIS 4.3 FOUR SEATER TOURER
First registered on 11/3/37 with a Holbrook Saloon body this 4.3 was rebodied in the 60’s with a Cross & Ellis adapted tourer style body. With the current owner over forty years who has progressively improved the car for enhanced driveability. Huge list of improvements including, stiffer cross member, welded box front section, Alfin drums, Koni dampers. Fully rebuilt engine with counter balanced crank, short block, lighter pistons, new head, revised valves, new pump, bearings etc.
Other improvements include: Higher axle ratio, overdrive, Improved cooling system, re-circulating fuel system, high torque starter, upgraded lights, the list goes on.
With superbly finished paintwork this is the uiltimate pre-war driving car for relaxed touring with 70 mph at 2500 rpm and ample power throughout.
