1938 12/70 SC Drophead Coupe By Abbotts
A superbly presented unique Alvis being the only 12/70 by E.D.Abbotts of Farnham. Produced from 1937 this model preceded the TA 14 and being lighter was somewhat nimbler. This one was totally restored by a knowledgeable craftsman and has subsequently won awards at Alvis gatherings. Despatched chassis only on 30/11/38 to Farnham it was re-delivered as the finished car on 14/2/39. Good for 80 mph with synchro on the top three gears this is an easy to drive reliable tourer and an eye-catching car in any company.
