1951 ALVIS TA 21 DHC BY TICKFORD

Between 1950 and 1953 only 303  TA  DHC`s were built with the smooth 3 litre in-line six cylinder and twin carburettors offering 90 bhp and virtually 90mph. This particular car left the Works on 21^st November 1951 resplendent in Maroon with matching leather trim First owner was a Mr.F.Dew and the car was at that point registered DEW 3. In August 1960 a completely reconditioned engine was fitted and the car has been in the same ownership since 1967. With recent mechanical work the car is sensibly priced and an excellent opportunity to sample quality open air motoring in style.
