1952 TA21 Saloon by Mulliner

Introduced as the first all new model post war in December 1950 just over 1000 Mulliner saloon were produced and with twin SU’s produced 93BHP.This particular car was initially used by Mr Nixon (Alvis Works Director) for publicity photos and then Mr Miles (Chief Production Engineer) as a company car. On leaving the company in 1956 Mr Mile purchased the car and used it privately until his death in 1973. The car was repatriated from the U.S.A. in 1999 by Mrs Wendy Betts (Mr Mile’s daughter) and the car was subject to a comprehensive body & mechanical restoration and remains in very good condition.
