1936 Firebird Tourer by Cross & Ellis
The first owner Capt H. James Mylne of Cheltenham, took delivery from the dealer Charles Follet in December 1936. Only 25 Firebirds were manufactured with the Cross & Ellis tourer coachwork. This car, unfortunately, is the subject of a stalled restoration. Most of the major mechanical work is complete including engine, chassis, radiator, instruments, and new a stainless fuel tank and exhaust. The coachwork requires full restoration. The car is a matching number car including original registration.
