1939 Speed 25 Short Chassis Tourer by Vanden Plas
First introduced in 1936, the Speed 25 Alvis was given universal approval by the motoring press. Of the 391 chassis built most were fitted with Charlesworth saloon coachwork as this one was. This car was delivered new to Mr Cussins, High Street, Sheffield on the 2nd March 1939. Since 2003 the car has had a mechanical overhaul and has been re-bodied with this stunningly attractive Vanden Plas designed tourer coachwork.
